Welcome to the Grimwoods
Come in, here you will find a community of extraordinary people and a Minecraft server to call home. For years we have searched and searched for the right server, but none ever lasted. Therefore, we bring you Grimwood! A project that has been able to combine four former servers into one. We feature the basics of vanilla with some added features. Those being: custom random structures, mythic mobs, dungeons to fight with friends, Hermitcraft style market place where diamonds are currency, events and much more! Welcome to Grimwood, a land once lost to war and time. We hope you enjoy and find friends along the way.
In order to become a part of the Grimwood community, you will need to click the link below to join the Discord. Once you do so, you’ll head to #🚨-apply and follow the steps given to fill out an application. From there, our team of staff will help you get into the game, as well as with any troubles you might encounter!

6MoonsDown (Moons)
Moons is titled with being the ‘Lore Director’ of Grimwood, helping come up with the main concept of the storyline. He is also known as ‘The Guy With the Good Voice’ by some, not by me but by some people. Thanks to this, you will often hear his voice narrating over many Grimwood videos. His lore character, G!Moons is a reanimated skeleton, often found in green clothing, though if he’s wearing red? Um, head the other way…
ikkyikarus (Ikarus)
Ikarus is known for helping out with a multitude of server needs, and is a pretty good builder as well! Their lore character, G!Ikarus is a mage from the Warped Forests that inhabit the Nether. Fortunately they were born with a great skill for magic and potion making, unfortunately though, this magic may have gotten out of control. It may have caused some fungus issues for themselves and those around them…
SmolMushies (Olive)
Olive has taken over as the ‘Dungeon Master’, from furnishing to creating the stickiest traps, they’ve got it covered. When you all do The End Dungeon and you start crying, blame Olive and Lammas. This lore character? Well let’s just say that G!Olive might have an evil streak in her, and may also be very fond of the darkness. Going deep, deep, deep down until finding the perfect spot to build… well you’ll see!
Bod_Gruvon (Bod)
Bod is our supreme overlord the owner of the server you all play on! He handles pretty much anything that needs to be dealt with, and if there’s ever an issue, he usually can help out. His lore character, G!Bod is a rather closed off individual from the End Dimension. Often you’ll see him cursing out those from the Overworld and Nether, but we promise he’s not a bad guy! Just a lot going on in terms of self discovery, you'll see.
Kal_43 (Kal)
Kal is what we like to call the ‘Core Protect Guy’, he helped us staff members learn the thing that helps keep all of us safe from the nasty little griefers! Thanks Kal! His lore character G!Kal is the farmer that helped feed the Overworldians for years and years. Planting wheat fields as big as the eye can see, and building redstone machines that are even bigger. Ones that we have never ever broken. We swear! Pinky promise?
Strategas (Strat)
Strat was the former menace to society, but recently he has hung up that badge in order to hang out in the background more often. But he does help pay for the server, so we love him regardless! G!Strat, also known as the Dragonheart, AKA the reason Grimwood was and is in disarray. His disappearance kicked off years of destruction, though he has been spotted once in modern times by an unlikely group of people.
CryptidLuna (Luna)
Luna is the resident graphic designer and social media representative of the team. They actually made the logo you’ve seen a million times on this site (and he might even be typing the words you’ve been reading this entire time, who knows?). Her lore character, G!Luna is a chaotic Blood Mage from the Nether’s Crimson Forests. Of course she is very nice and would love to have you check out the view from her tower’s roof!
lammas30 (Lammas)
Lammas is one of our resident dungeon testers, his mean right swing with a sword says it all. If there is a dungeon to do, he’s going to find a way to beat it, though his methods are a bit better than some people. His lore character, G!Lammas is… well… I think he’s just a cat in a suit! But something is telling me that there is a lot of chaos behind those big blue eyes. Wait– Lammas don’t try to solo the dungeon again with only raw fish—
WittleRain (Rain)
Rain is the person in the chair. The reason that this server is able to be up in running! They host our humble little Grimwood and make it so we don’t have to communicate with a third party who doesn’t know what’s going on. Currently Rain does not have a lore character, but if one is made, again; I’ll let you know.
